King Of Wood 2009

The KING OF WOOD has been happening for over 7 years now and quickly became one of the best skater-runned contest in Europe.
Some of the best European and International skateboarders will head to ROUEN, France for this 7th edition of the KING OF WOOD. The event is an OPEN PRO/AM contest and will be held from the 10th to 12th of July 2009. It is opened to skaters from all over the world.
The skatepark of Rouen is well renowned for its great atmosphere, being skater-runned and fun to skate. It is a 1600 m2 indoor skatepark which includes a 1200 m2 street course, which will be reshaped especially for the occasion and a 400 m2 bowl, which will also be extended with a new vert section.

Skateboarders will be competing for a total cash purse of €10,000.

The event is being organised in collaboration with CARHARTT, and VANS, our long time partners.

So who will suceed to ARNOST CERAL, MAXIME GENIN, DANIEL VIERA and STEVE FORSTNER to win the KING OF WOOD.

We’ve also organized a wide range of entertainment to enjoy through the event and the all week-end such as BBQs, PARTIES or MUSIC Lives ( ??)..
